It's been just over 8 years, yet the Mira Mar Vet Hospita building is just as bright as when it first opened. The hospital is purpose built and extremely functional, with the capability to perform 3 gaseous anaesthetics and surgeries simultaneously . It offers efficient service and a wide range of new, up-to-date facilities. We have also purchased many state-of-the-art instrumentsand equipment for our patients' benefit. This means we can provide you and your pet with better service and care.

Mira Mar has a team of ten people:  5 veterinarians and 5 nurse assistants, and is the largest veterinary hospital in Albany.

Our Facilities Include:

• Large car park at front and back of building with 20 car capacity
• Level wheel chair access and disabled toilet
• Large waiting room with waiting areas for dogs and cats
• Spacious reception, preparation area, operating theatre and cage/kennel rooms
• 3 consulting rooms with computer terminals and X-ray viewers
  
• Piped oxygen to 3 anaesthetic machines located both in the operating theatre and in the preparation area
• Barium-lined radiology suite, with separate x-ray processor
• Small animal ultrasound machine
• Laboratory with modern, computerised blood testing instruments and equipment
• Dental treatment unit with ultrasonic scaler, polisher and burr, with associated instruments
• Full range of prescription diets from Hills Pet Foods.
• Enclosed grassed area with horse crush at rear of car park, and horse float parking
• Large range of merchandise including foods, pet accessories, shampoos and the most up-to-date range of flea and worm treatments
• EFTPOS and Credit Card (Bankcard, Mastercard, Visacard) facilities
• 24-hour, seven days a week, emergency phone service (98415422)
